ReplyDeleteQuestion about glycerin as an ingredient in lotions or moisturizers. Water and mineral oil are listed first. Is glycerin an oil?
ReplyDeleteAlso, what about baby oil with Vitamin E. I found mine includes that as an ingredient so I'm thinking no. Is that right?
The recipes are for any part of the diet.
ReplyDeleteIf a recipe has mixed veggies or something that is not acceptable on the 40 days then alter it to fit your diet. (:

ReplyDeleteWhen I feel real tired and slugggissh, I make sure I drink my water and take a nice long nap and I go out for a walk, yes I walk just to get the stale blood moving thru my body. I'm not saying go run 5 miles just do something that will make you blood move. (Then take another nap) I've lost 41 lbs so far and this is my first round. I plan to do two more rounds. I've had lots of sluggish days. Good luck to all!!!!
ReplyDeleteSusla, when you say one cup of fruit does that mean we can weigh 8ozs of fruit, or just what we can fit in a one cup, measuring cup?
ReplyDelete6 strawberries only weighs 6oz, can we have 8oz of srawberries?
Can we have 8oz of strawberries when we are on the grace period?
ReplyDeleteAfter I reach my goal weight, will I be able to go back to eating regular food? ( cereal/bread )
ReplyDeleteOr, am I going to have to eat chicken and salad for the rest of my life?
I'm worried because the weight is coming off faster than I thought it would. So If I go back to eating normal foods will I pack the weight back on?
Measure in 1 cup measuring cup for the fruit portions listed "1 cup"
ReplyDeleteOn your grace period your fruit portion doubles. So 12 stawberries instead of 6. You can split it up and eat it throughout the day. Dr. Simeon didnt really wiegh the fruit in oz. He listed 6 large strawberries. So grace period you have the option to double.
ReplyDeleteAfter you have finished the grace period, you can add in small portions of starch like bread and cereal. Be sure that you are using the meats veggies and fruit as your staples and adding in fats and starch in moderation. If you have done the diet correctly then you should be able to maintain it well. By all means you cannot go back to the way you were eating before, but you can have starch and sugar in moderation.
ReplyDeleteIt is a change of lifestyle and your diet for the better!
ReplyDeleteI am told on the maintenance (or grace) Phase I can take my calcium with D if it doesn't have starch in it. What are starch ingredients? Can you tell me if any of these ingred. is starch?
ReplyDeletehypromellose, microcrystalline, cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, titanium dioxide, magnesium stearate, FD&C yellow #5, FD&C Blue #1, propylene glycol, triacetin, stearic acid, acacia gum, maltodextrin.
Looking at this there are a lot of lose in the first few ingredients maybe there is too much sugar in these. But I am really concerned about getting my calcium because i have thinning of the bones. I should take 3 tablets a day.
Calcium and vitamin D are just fine to take on the Grace Period. You may take the reccomended dose on the bottle or otherwise instructed by your Physician.
