  1. I was hoping that some people could share with me how their 2nd cycle went. During the 1st week of my 1st cycle I lost 14 pounds. I did a 7 week maintence period and didn't stay on the diet at all but didn't gain any weight. For my loading days for my 2nd cycle I ate enough fattening foods that I gained 5 pounds, so I think I did it right. Now I am 1 week into my 2nd cycle and I have only lost 3 pounds. I would like to hear from some people if this happened to them too or if they lost a lot in the 1st week of their 2nd cycle. Thanks.

  2. I did a second cycle and lost 9 pounds the first week and then was super super hungry the rest of the time. I kind of wonder if my body built up some immunity to the hcg. I wanted to lose 30 pounds on the second round and didn't succeed. I am going to wait a littler longer and then decide if I want to do it again

  3. I have just started the diet and I have noticed some things that have me worried. I am a little over one week into the diet and I am experiencing hair lose like after giving birth, I am also urinating a lot, and I am consantly thirsty no matter how much water I drink. Could these be side affects from the diet or could something else be going on?

  4. The Hcg is said to be beneficial to skin, hair. Hairloss can be a side effect of extreme weight loss. If it is a concern of yours, call our office or schedule an apt to f/u with your physician. As for constantly feeling thirsty, it is getting increasingly warmer outside and your body will be deprived of fluids all around. Make sure you are constantly drinking - this will assist in the flushing of fat and impurities. Increased urination can be a side effect, but only temporarily (about a week or 2) If it continues to be bothersome, call our office - but it should subside. Just make sure that you are following all the guidelines and drinking alot of water, and taking recommended supplements. If you have any other questions feel free to ask or call 435-628-6466 ex: 101

  5. Sometimes your body will build up an immunity to the hcg. You will need to make sure that you are doing the grace period correctly to prevent that. The closer you are to your "Goal Weight" the slower the weight will drop. The mind is a powerful thing, so don't discourage yourself. Remember that stress can react with the Hcg Hormone. Take a thorough look at all you are doing, and if you need to take a journal with you everywhere you go to be sure your not unknowingly making mistakes, DO IT! And like I mentioned above, the summertime is hard on our dehydrated bodies. So drink, drink, drink!

  6. Just a little update on my 2nd cycle: I got discouraged with the lack of weight lose and started to cheat a little. All I did was substituted on of my meals with the 3 egg whites and 1 egg yolk. Ever since I have done that I have consitantly lost 1 pound per day. On the days that I don't feel like eating eggs I don't loose anything. I know that this will not work for everyone but I realized that I needed to trick my body a little more than doing the diet the exact same as I did the 1st cycle.

  7. It seems that the closer you get to your goal weight, the weight loss comes off a little slower. As far as the eggs go. We recommend only to it random (if at all). The eggs yoke has fat that can make you plateau. We recommend following the diet. But that is interesting(:

  8. I went to Rise and Dine resturant today for lunch and after looking at the menu and seeing that 90% of their HCG menu is made with lemon peppper I was wondering how does that follow prodocol? The second or third ingrediant on lemon pepper is sugar! Does this mean we are aloud to eat a little bit of sugar? I am very confused! I asked to see the lemon pepper that they use and sure enough the third ingrediant is sugar. I am now really confused about what and what not we can eat!

  9. The lemon pepper they use should not have sugar. You ARE NOT allowed sugar in any quantity. They claim to follow HCG to the T. So that is good to know, they should not be allowing sugar intake at all. I will call them and be sure they know to eliminate that. That is why eating out can be tricky. Shoot. We will be sure to mention that in our lectures. Stay away from that spice if it has sugar in it. And make sure to know whats being used while cooking. Lemon pepper alone would be just fine. We appologize, we had no idea. Thanks for the info, it will help many people.

  10. Susla?

Do you still loose weight on the 6 week Grace period?
Also, when can you start eating (yummy stuff) on your loading days. Can you start at Midnight the first night to midnight the second night? Do I need to wait until I give myself my shot at 8am ? Please respond...

  11. The 6 week grace period is only to maintain that weight loss reached. However, some patients will continue to loose and thats great. We are more concerned with maintaining the weight lost. You can incorporate the appetite suppressant Phentermine to help with cravings at that time.
