These noodles are a great way to spice up a meal. Keep in mind that it is ZEROS all the way through and does follow the hcg diet regulations. Moderation is always a good thing with any one thing. You can order online off the website above. They range in price but you can get 10 for $21.99 (plus s&h). They also have a great marinara sauce recipe to go along with it on the recipe blog. Try it!

  1. Do you have any websites that you can share that sell the grissini breadsticks? Harmons is not able to keep their shelves stocked and I am having a hard time finding them online. There are so many varieties online, I want to make sure I get the correct kind.

  2. How much of this can you eat and when?

  3. Jill and Chris,
These noodles claims to be zeros all the way through. We recommend with things like this to eat in moderation. Just like the sugar-free fat free jellos, as well as crystal lite. You dont need to subsitute anything unless you want to. Make sure when you order them that you look on the back and make sure they are zeros all throughout. And again let us know how they are!(:

  4. I started the HCG March 10th. I have an IUD so I have not had a period since July. I started my period a week ago and haven't stopped bleeding yet. Although the bleeding has slowed down I am a little concerned. I have stopped losing weight and I wonder if that is the reason. What do you recommend I do? I am getting a little frustrated since I was doing so well. Please help! cl

  5. Even if I'm not a vegetarian cann I substitute the cottage cheese- lowfat or no fat? or the 1 egg and 2 egg whites for a protien with no backlash? perkia

  6. CL, It is normal to plateau during your cycle. I noticed right before and during my menstrual cycle and also at the time of ovulation I pleateau'd too. There also is alot of body reshaping going on so even though the scale might say no loss that does not mean that you are not losing fat or that it is being redeposited where you need it in structural places. Especially if you have been a yo yo dieter, which I was, all those diets have caused us to lose structural fat and the hcg will replace that. That's why there is such dramatic body reshaping with this diet. Try to have faith, make sure that you are following the diet correctly and relax. It tends to all even out in the end. :)

  7. CL,
While you are menstruating you will not lose weight. After your period we recommend you do an "Apple Day". This will help release the water retention your body stores during your menstruation.

  8. Perkia,
If you are not a vegetarian you can still substitute the fat-free cottage cheese occasionally as well as the 3 eggs and 1 yolk. Remember you can not have both at one food setting. It is one or the other for one protein serving.

  9. Wendy,
I think that any grissini breadstick is just fine as long as it is original and not different flavors. I searched the web and found this link. I also left a comment at Harmons Customer Service desk. I have found that they keep moving certain items and as of 3-25-09 the grissini bread was under the balsamic vinegar (I'm not sure what aisle number) and the Walden Farms dressings were also moved to aisle 6 and are now on the bottom shelf. I we can get enough people leaving a "comment note" at Harmons Customer Service desk maybe they will get a larger variety and keep the items better stocked.

  11. Hi I left a comment on the "grace period" section a while ago but my question has not been answered yet. So I am hoping that it will be noticed here. I was told to just keep eating the same foods but to double the amount. On the blog it shows a lot of different foods like hamburgers, hot dogs, cheese, etc. Can I really eat those foods while weaning off of the diet? Is the cheese counted as one of my proteins or just an extra? How much can I have? Also I was told that I could eat lunch meat during the "grace period" as long as there was no sugar in it. I found ones that did not have any sugar listed in the nutrition part but dextrose is one of the ingredients. Is that considered a sugar?

  12. One more question. I did the apple day after plateauing during my menstruation cycle and did start loosing weight again but about one week after that I plateaued again. Now I have actually gained a couple of pounds. I am getting really close to the end of my hcg and was really hoping to loose more. I did another apple day today but is there anyway to loose the pounds that I should have lost last week? I have not cheated at all on the diet most days I can't even eat as much as I am supposed to. So how can I be gaining weight with such little caloric intake?

    ReplyDelete
  13. FYI: I tried the miracle noodles and was very disappointed. They have a fishy odor when you open the package, however it rinses off and they noodles have no flavor at all. The texture is what turned me off. They are very slimy and rubbery. I could not force myself to eat them.

  14. Hampys,
When you reach the end of your hcg cycle the weight loss will taper off, you will not be losing as much as you have been the first couple of weeks. Keep in mind that you will be doubling everything your eating-only protein-veg-fruit. It really depends if you are at your goal weight or not, and if you plan on doing another cycle immedietly after your grace period. We have found that when we were allowing the small portions of fat into the GRACE PERIOD it was getting out of hand and people were adding in too much. We recommend to steer clear of fat- double everything to a 1,000 calorie with still no starch, sugar, or fat. This way you can still loose weight and maintain alot better.

  15. Ok so I have a lot of questions about the maitenance period. I am plannign on coming in once I reach my goal weight but am curious still.
So on the maitenance..Can you start to mix your veggies and meats?
Do you have to eat 7 ounces all at one meal or can you break it into 2 meals?
Can you have double the melba toast?
If you lose weight on the maintenance and then gain more than 2 lbs after you lost do you still have to skip eating that day? Or is it just more than 2 lbs from your original weight when you started maintenance?
Can you start to use some lotions on the maintenance?
    Are pickles ok?

    Thanks!!

  16. I went in for my follow up visit and I am still very confused about the maintenance period! I was very clear about it when I left the appointment but my memory is horrible and it is so hard to get someone from the office on the phone. Is there any way that you could do a post about the maintenance period for us to refer back to and refresh our memory?

    ReplyDelete
  17. for the maintenance period you can Double your calorie intake to 1000 calories a day. This means exactly that. Double what you have been eating on the HCG diet. If you dont want to eat this much you dont have to. This is just setting you at a 1000 calorie limit. If you are done losing weight, no sugars and starches for 3 weeks . If you plan on doing another round of HCG no sugars and starches for 6 weeks (the first 3 weeks you are weighing yourself daily).

Weigh yourself the day you get done with injections. If your weight goes above this original number by 2 pounds then skip breakfast and lunch but take plenty to drink, in the evening eat a large steak and one apple OR one tomato and nothing else.

Lotions may be used during the graceperiod sparingly

    No pickles

  19. I am eight days into the HCG diet and have been losing weight 1-2 lbs daily, I have been excersing as well. I have lost only 8 lbs and now have had 2 days with no weight lose. I am so discouraged. I have checked everything, I am following the diet exactly. What is happening to me....

  20. I had 3 bags of miracle noodles today. Is that going to hinder my weight loss? Also, I used the seasonings from ramen noodles to spice up miracle noddles because they taste so bland, does that work?

  23. I have just finished the 23 day program, and am now on the 1200 calorie weaning phase. I have been researching information on the web and it seems that there are so many inconsistancies and variations on how the diet is supposed to be followed. I have lost 16 lbs and 16 inches total, I am very pleased with my progress. I do not want to go wrong now during this important reset time. I would appreciate some guidance on this final phase and would like to know, is this phase 3 wks or 6 wks?

  26. You can eat the miracle noodles on the hcg. They are zeros all the way through. Try eating them to spice things up...and in moderation. We also reccomend that you try to use things that are articficial in moderation. And if you plateau at all to illiminate.

If you are approaching the 23 days and have reached your goal weight your grace period really only needs to be about 3 weeks. If you have not reached your goal weight you will need to do 6 weeks. Feel free to call us to discuss where your at. (:

  28. Using the raman noodle spices does not work. The packets that come with them have sugar in them.

  30. I am eating miracle noodles as i type this.. i eat them about 3 times a week ( for the past 2 weeks) and have lost the same amount as before i added them.. two ways i like to eat them is 1. blend a can of stewed tomatoes, basil, and garlic and add turkey or hamburger or chicken. 2. saute shrimp and veggie of choice (i like onions) and mix with the miracle noodles, then top with amino liquids (taste just like soy sauce)... hope this helps somebody... as far as the fishy smell and nasty tecture it really does help to put them in a strainer and run them under hot water for a few minutes and then add to dishes like the ones above that have other textures.. the noodles have little taste but take on the taste from the other foods and they make the hcg diet a lot easier because u feel like you are having carbs (which i sure do crave)

  31. i have a question, for maintenance period would i be allowed to buy a packet of sugar free fat free jello and mix it with skim milk and protein powder... i will not be doing another session of hcg... i am only 4 lbs form my goal weight :)

  32. Hello, I am on my second round of Hcg, but in a worse situation than before. The first time I started I was 164. I ate iall back by ABSOLUTELY NOT following protocol and have started my first vlcd day at 172.5 (i gained about 3 from loading). Its discouraging, but I'm getting back in there. I did lose 15 lbs the frist time, but Christmas really did me in. I am hoping to find as much support as possible. Also, is anyone else exercising, because I am this time around?

  33. I did the HCG diet about 10 years ago. The shots are no longer available in my community up here in Canada, but recently I discovered the HcG drops. I find that it is working fairly well. When I did the shots before, we were never told not to mix veg and after 3 rounds, I lost 100lbs, 40 lbs after my first round. I do find that I am struggling more this time, feeding a husband and children definately making the cravings for more, especially starches. I am going to try the miracle noodles ( just ordered them) and I truely hope that they can help with the stuggle to loose the excess weight.

  34. Guys, I am on the hcg diet and I have some advice. I know this seems obvious, but DONT CHEAT. I am so discouraged. I was doing so well and had a tiny bit of peanut butter and dark chocolate and gained 2 lbs immediatly. Now I am struggling. Its so frustrating. Tommorow I am skipping lunch and having a chicken strawberry salad for dinner. Then again on the next day to hopefully boost me back down.

  35. I have a question... is it okay to switch from the injections to oral drops in the middle of the 40 days?

  36. Thinking about doing a ramen soup with the miracle noodles and homemade chicken broth. This should be a 'free' snack, right? The broth is free and the noodles are free. Maybe I'll add a couple of seasonings... garlic, onion flakes, salt, pepper, cayenne...?
    What do you all think?
